Until recently all the training conducted by Cressingham Training was all displayed on one site. This was a little confusing so we have decided to create three Divisions - each one focusing on a different aspect of our courses - this one is for Reiki and Healing.
Cressingham Training, our parent organisation is a registered Educational Course Supplier. (This page is common to all Divisions of Cressingham Training).
We are members of the UK Register of Learning Providers. (Our provider number is UKPRN: 10023237)
The UK Register of Learning Providers is an official website designed to be used by government departments, other agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers across agencies such as, the Learning and Skills Council, the National Learning Directory, the Higher Education Statistics Agency, the Higher Education Funding Council for England and UCAS.
As members of UKRLP our courses are available through around 70 websites including Learn Direct.
All our Reiki Training Courses allow FULL Membership of The World Reiki Association.
All our Hypnotherapy and NLP courses are accredited by The British Institute of Hypnotherapy. The Hypnotherapy practitioner Diploma allow full membership of the BIH, the General Hypnotherapy Register and the register of the UKCHO.
Cressingham Training was developed from an idea that Richard Wain had around the Millenium. At that time he was attending a few CPD courses and found them to be rather lack-luster and expensive. The same was happening in the Education sector, much of the Inset training was given by people who were not talented in the art of instruction, (Richard was teaching 'A' Level Psychology at the time).
Cressingham Training has been divided into three subject specific divisions, each with its own website, to make it easier for customers to find exactly what they were looking for. We have divided into Hypnotherapy-NLptraining, Lifecoach-training and Reiki-training. However, your diploma will still be from Cressingham Training as this is the name registered with accrediting bodies and insurance company.
This made Richard think about all the therapy training he had received and the training he had in business before and he realised most of it was basic and often delivered in a rather perfunctory or didactic style. The prices were often expensive for what was given, and often out of the price bracket of the average person. It was then that he made the decision that one day he would set up a trainingorganisation that was dynamic in its delivery of experiential learning and at affordable prices.
Cressingham Training is a small emterprise with a select and skilled team of trainers. Most have been motivational/NLP style managers in business or teachers. All are still in private practice as Therapists, (Reiki Masters, Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioners, and Psychotherapists), Coaches, Tutors and Consultants.
We have several occasional trainers including a Premier League coach, a G.P, world famous celebrity Hypnotist and a World Champion in Martial Arts. These trainers may sometimes deliver particular sections of specific seminars or courses.
We see being a small enterprise as a great advantage. It means we are in far greater control of how our courses operate, we revise them regularly and our trainers are involved in all these processes. Being small also allows us to keep our number of delegates low which in turn enables the trainers to develop a real and tangible rapport with each individual. The effect of this is noticeable as each person is more at ease, learns more and has a greater sense of enjoyment and satisfaction during the course.

Richard Wain, the founder of the Cressingham Organisation, is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses and offers all fellow members and their employees 10% off the price of all seminars and courses. (This discount is not applicable if a greater discount is being offered in a Special Offer).
Why train with Cressinghams?
1) You need to feel confident that you are receiving quality training. You can buy courses for a couple of hundred pounds, or less, and be given a 'Diploma'. The problem is you learn from the given texts, answer questions from those texts and NEVER work with a client, yet you pass. Can you see the major problem with these courses? So can insurance companies.
At Cressingham Training you attend an intensive attendance course, which involves a practical and verbal assessment. You will also be expected to complete tasks in the evenings during the course.
2) We keep our group size down to a maximum of nine students. This allows for a far greater amount of personal attention from the trainers. All our tarining is undertaken in our own premises at Crayford in Kent.
3) We do not charge high fees. We are mindful that people are changing careers so cost could be important to them; that you may be staying in a local B&B or hotel or commuting everyday. All of these things add to your costs.
4) For a whole year after completion of the course you get full back-up and personal coaching from our Senior Trainer Richard Wain on all aspects of your business.

All our trainers are fully qualified Master Practitioners who have all spent time in practice, industry or teaching before entering the world of training.
All practitioner training allows membership of genuine professional bodies and to obtain full liability insurance at a special discounted rate. This discounted rate is only available when you have qualified and apply with a copy of your Diploma.
